I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 46. Diagnosis was TINOMO,
Stage 1 (carcinoma of the right breast) – 3 mm. I have more detail
if you
need it.
Routine yearly mammogram revealed the new calcifications. I underwent
a
partial mastectomy on March 4, 1993. I had been having yearly mammograms
since the age of 40. My mother died of breast cancer at the age of 58.
My
treatment included six weeks of radiation.
Presently I am 56 years old and a masters'
rower at Saugatuck Rowing Club.
Retired
CPA (formerly worked for Arthur Andersen and Philip Morris)
spend most of my time rowing and working on community projects.
Married with two children. Husband Richard is the Chief Financial Officer
of
"The Knot" the wedding Internet company. My son Christopher
is 22 years old.
Graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May. Now a law student
